About Lindsay

Lindsay McMurphy, M.S., CCC-SLP, ADHD-RSP graduated from Penn State University with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders . Since then, she has worked in early intervention, preschool, and school-age settings. Lindsay is a Natural Language Acquisition-trained clinician, an ADHD Certified Rehabilitation Service Provider, and is a certified educator in Pennsylvania. She has a passion for working on those pesky "r" sounds and non-verbal working memory tasks. Her greatest joy is seeing a child's confidence grow.

Having grown up in York County, PA (Spring Grove!), her plan was to move away and see the world. Lindsay started her career and family in State College, PA and then had the experience of a lifetime, living abroad in Switzerland for four years, affording her the opportunity to visit several European cities. Now she has moved back home, with a broader view of what education can look like.

Lindsay has continually strived to stay up-to-date on evidence-based therapy techniques. Twice, she has earned the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) ACE award, for commitment to continuing education. She has special interests and additional training in the areas of gestalt language processing and articulation disorders, including childhood apraxia of speech and remediation of lateralizations.

She would be honored to join your child on their journey!
