Frequently Asked Questions

Katie L

Lindsay started working with my daughter when she was 4 years old. My daughter would hardly talk to her, other than to tell her no. Lindsay was so patient and kind, and is extremely knowledgeable. She encouraged us to go to an ENT and we found out she had enlarged adnoids which were removed. Once they were removed, it helped so much with her breathing and articulation. By the time my daughter was finished with speech therapy, she was a new child. Lindsay helped her gain confidence which showed in school as she received an award for most improved student in her class. We are so proud of how far she has come and are so grateful for Lindsay and all that she did for her and our family. 110% recommend Lindsay.

Navigating Insurance: What You Need to Know

At this time, Little Journeys Speech Therapy services are out-of-network with all insurance companies. Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check, or credit card (including HSA/FSA cards) on the day of services.

Little Journeys offers different options for support, including screening, assessment, therapy, consultation, and summer programming packages. Some of these services may be covered by your insurance through your out-of-network benefits. We can guide you through finding out your benefits.

Do you take insurance?

Although Little Journeys does not guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse any of the cost, we can generate a Superbill, which you can submit to your insurance. Little Journeys recommends calling your insurance company first, using the number on the back of your insurance card, to discuss potential reimbursement of speech/language services.

Please ask for a parent guide on calling about out-of-network benefits!

Some or all of Little Journeys Speech Therapy's services may not be covered by your insurance, and you are responsible for covering the difference between the two.
