Frequently
Asked
Questions

Do you take insurance?

At this time, Little Journeys Speech Therapy services are out-of-network with all insurance companies. Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check, or credit card (including HSA/FSA cards) on the day of services.

Little Journeys offers different options for support, including screening, assessment, therapy, consultation, and summer programming packages. Some of these services may be covered by your insurance through your out-of-network benefits. We can guide you through finding out your benefits.

How can I get reimbursed by my insurance company?

Though I do not guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse any of the cost, I can generate a Superbill, which you can submit to your insurance. We recommend calling your insurance company first, using the number on the back of your insurance card, to discuss potential reimbursement of speech/language services.

Please ask me for a parent guide on calling about out of network benefits!

Some or all of Little Journeys Speech Therapy's services may not be covered by your insurance, and you are responsible for covering the difference between the two.

How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?

Some of the most common concerns I hear from families are: my child is hard to understand, my child is a late-talker, my child has a hard time understanding my directions, my child stutters, and my child talks but it doesn't make sense. If you have any of these concerns or others, then your child may benefit from speech/language therapy.

Consultations are always FREE. Contact me to schedule a time to talk about your concerns!
