A Bit About Melissa

Melissa brings a unique blend of education and organization to her role as Administrative Assistant at Little Journeys. With a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Science in Special Education (PK-8), and a Master of Education in Assessment, Curriculum, & Teaching—all from Millersville University—she has dedicated her career to supporting children’s growth and success.

Originally from Adams County, Melissa began her journey in education as a teacher in the rural Big Spring School District in Cumberland County. Through this experience, she developed a deep appreciation for the impact that structured, supportive learning environments have on a child’s development. Now, she applies that same passion and expertise behind the scenes, ensuring that Little Journeys runs smoothly so that therapists can focus on what they do best—helping kids thrive.

With her keen eye for detail and love of organization, Melissa takes pride in handling the administrative side of the practice, making sure families and therapists feel supported every step of the way. She is honored to be part of the Little Journeys team and to play a role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and child-centered space.
